GUR(JAGGERY) PARE

This is a Punjabi delicacy prepared specillsp in weddings. So here is the recipe. I wish you will enjoy while making as well as eating this. Ingredients required are below:- Maida(white flour) - 250 gm Oil or Ghee - 1/2 cup ( kneading) Fennel(saunf) - 1 tpsp Jaggery- 150gm Oil or Ghee for frying  Preparation:- First of all sieve the maida and add 1/2 cup of ghee or oil for kneading the dough. Use water accordingly for kneading the dough. But keep the dough jus average, not so hard and not so soft . Keep it aside for 20 minutes. Meanwhile prepare the jaggery syrup for Paras. Cut out jaggery in very small pieces that while heating it in water it will get melt or you can make a powder also. Take 2 cups of water in a pan and heat it . After that add jaggery and heat it for at least 5 to 10 minutes till it comes out as a smooth syrup and in last add fennel seeds or fennel powder. N keep it aside.
