Bharwa Bhindi / Okra

Ingredients:-

Bhindi - 250 gm
Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Green chillies - 2
Dry mango powder- 1 tpsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tpsp
Salt - 1/2 tpsp
Coriander powder - 1 tpsp


Preparation:-

Wash the bhindi well and dry and clean  it with the help of a clean cloth. Slit the bhindi lengthwise.

Take a bowl and add all dry spices together and filled in slitted bhindi.


Take a pan and add oil. Add cumin seeds and then chopped onions. After that add a pinch of turmeric powder and tomato and green chillies puree. ( Grind tomatoes and green chillies in a mixture to make a fine paste)

Once the above gravy got saute add filled bhindi to the gravy and cooked for 10 to 12 min. Check after that if Bhindi get cooked or required some more few minutes then allow it to get cooked.
